Saucy Jack
Saucy Jack was an accident waiting to happen. Seven years ago, two of the three members happened to be auditioning for the same band. Although they didn’t choose to join that band, a mutual taste in music and shared admiration for the movie ‘Spinal Tap’ inspired what today has become a well established musical group from central Iowa.
Saucy Jack is comprised of Dan Trimble on drums, Jim Poffenberger on guitar, and Stacy Peterson on bass. Featuring lead vocals from all three members and three part harmony in most songs, it is often mentioned that their sound is much bigger than one would expect from a three man band. A look at their song list would show that this is a band that grew up loving 80’s rock and roll. But you will also find many great songs from the 70’s, 90’s, and today in the mix.
Generally using Andy Anderson of Concert Sound for their sound company, Saucy Jack can play everywhere from small clubs to large venues and outdoor concerts. They have had many great opportunities to open up for well known national acts such as Jimmy Van Zant, Molly Hatchet, Head East, and the Marshall Tucker Band.
With a reputation as a fun party band, and a great network of fans stretching across Iowa, and reaching parts of Nebraska and Minnesota, be sure to remember Saucy Jack for your next party or booking!
